Aloha~!

Put on your best Luau attire or your favorite casual Island wear and enjoy the return of The Bow Wow Luau & The Cat’s Meow®, our Annual Fundraiser.  A touch of Hawaii will visit Wrightsville Beach, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6th at the tropical setting of Shell Island Resort. It is a Night of Hope for Homeless and Abused Dogs and Cats in our Community!

Sadly, every day across our nation, over 950 healthy and adoptable dogs and cats are killed in shelters simply because they don’t have a home.  Each life is worth saving.  Tragically, NC ranks #3 in the nation for pet euthanasia of healthy and adoptable dogs and cats. Since our founding, The Bow Wow Luau & The Cat’s Meow® has raised and donated over $68,000.00 to save the lives of formerly homeless and abused dogs and cats in our community.

The Bow Wow Luau & The Cat’s Meow® is an evening of tropical ocean breezes and authentic Luau enjoyment with musical entertainment in both ballrooms. In our sound-side ballroom, Paleo Sun will be playing their Summer Soulful Reggae Vibes and our Oceanfront ballroom will feature Caribbean Acoustic Steel Drum Music by Sea Pans.  Enjoy Island-style hors d'oeuvres as you bid on many wonderful silent auction items. New Hanover County Sheriff McMahon will be our event emcee. Experience Authentic Cultural Polynesian Bamboo Performance Dancing that brings to life the Aloha Spirit.  Come enjoy the most spectacular Luau-festive evening of the Islands---all to save the lives of homeless dogs and cats in our community!

Mahalo~!
