We are very honored that Heidi's Hope for Homeless Animals, Inc. has been selected to become a Best Friends Animal Society Network Partner!!! Best Friends Animal Society is a national animal organization that has been such an inspiration in founding "The Bow Wow Luau & The Cat’s Meow®" and Heidi's Hope for Homeless Animals, Inc. We look forward to working together for our mutual goal and Best Friend's mission, to "Save Them All"!:

This weekend, Heidi's Hope for Homeless Animals, Inc. donated Pet Food Donations to All4Cats for the cats and kittens in their care. We also donated Pet Donations to Open Door Ministries for their community outreach and also to Food Pantry for those who are in great need. Thank you to Wilmington Woof Gang Bakery and Salty Paws for our ongoing pet donations to help feed many dogs and cats in desperate need!:

The Lives of Hundreds of Hurricane Pet Victims are Being Saved Thanks to the Community-Wide Support of Heidi's Hope for Homeless Animals Pet Donation Drive! We collected and donated an incredible amount:
~ 85 Crates/Carriers; 180 Collars
~ 124 Harnesses
~ 110 Leashes
~ 2573.9 lbs.dry dog food
~ 321.4 lbs.canned dog food
~ 640.5 lbs.dry cat food
~ 236.1 lbs. canned cat food
~ 409.1 lbs. cat litter and many more wonderful donations!
Thanks to Deb Donovan, DVM for countless hours of organizing and inventorying! Our Community has come together to help the animals in their time of great need and God has blessed our efforts in an amazing way!
Thank you for all who made donations--your generosity is greatly appreciated by the animals! We are so very grateful to our generous supporters----Inman Trucking who provided a tractor trailer and drivers for transportation to Florida; Few Moves for moving pet donations from storage unit to truck; Martin Self Storage; Woof Gang Bakery; Pet Supermarket; Salty Paws Thrift Shop; Jeannie Mintz, Saving Animals During Disasters; Deb Donovan, DVM; UPS Store at the Forum; Petsmart, Mayfaire; UNC-W Pre-Vet Club; VCA Animal Hospital; Needham Animal Hospital; Unleashed, Wilmington, Cary and Raleigh; St. Paul's Episcopal Church; MacCumber Terrace neighborhood and excellent photography by Photography by Kish. Our truck left on Wednesday, October 4th, St. Francis Day, Patron Saint of the Animals, to Florida to Save the Lives of Hundreds of Hurricane Pet Victims. Donations were delivered to First Coast No More Homeless Pets--a network partner of Best Friends Animal Society, a nationwide animal rescue organization that I have long-admired for their wonderful animal advocacy!
